Winter Blues

I do not know about you, but usually this time of the year is the hardest for me. Maybe that is why I left last year and went lambing in England for a bit before seeing family.

I think our dogs get it. Somehow.

I notice the difference in my girls every day during the winter. They are calmer, and even the hyperactive puppy is surprisingly chill, just going about her life. They all seem to be hibernating a little bit more, sleeping 18 hours instead of their usual 12 to 14.

Meanwhile, I find myself trying to rebuild my life, my business, expectations, dreams and goals. Mapping out a pathway to get there. In the middle of winter.

So I am exhausted with myself - for taking forever with some tasks, getting constantly distracted, and trying to prioritize my health.

Balancing self-employment while also taking on this crazy challenge (working 30 days straight, around ten hours in or on my business) is not going to be fun. But that is not why I am doing it. I am doing it to prove to myself that I am capable, that I am willing to push through the hard to make it work.

The coasting days are done in my book. I am ready to put in the work.

Happy Training.
