Only Puppies..
I don’t think I’ve talked about this yet...
But did you know I’ll only consider adding puppies to my household pack — dogs I’ll own and raise myself?

Do you know why?
Rylee.
Rylee is turning 11 this year, and she is so tiny.
At a solid 12 pounds, she’s smaller than any dog who might come into our lives. I want to give her the chance to teach a puppy how to behave.
She also loves puppies — so it’s a win-win.
Rylee gets to raise them for the first week or two, teaching them how she expects to be treated, and then she’s done.
It’s like she says, “I’ve done my part, mom. Your turn now.”
It might look mean when she plays. She’ll jump on the puppy, pounce and push them to the floor, then bite their legs and neck — all trying to get them to play.
I’ve never seen her lose a play-fight, but I remind her she has about a week before the puppy grows bigger!
So, to protect the peace in my home — puppies only, please!
Happy Training!
