Emma - Border Collie

After getting Bella and falling in love with sheep, herding and all things sheepdog world, I have been wanting a puppy.

Things after things did not work out when it came to adding adding a third dog to my household, but finally I was on the list for a female puppy from pretty cool working lines!

Emma was born March 15th, 2024, and was the eighth puppy out of eleven! Poor Kit! She was huge when I picked her up and remained the biggest in her entire litter until late September of last year, I want to say.

The moment I laid eyes on Emma I was in love. She went by Cait at that point, and was a happy, round puppy. I started driving from Pennsylvania back home, and had this screaming puppy in my car. Her name just came to me.

We bonded and she has been amazing.

She is so social that I have to make dog dates for her, so she can see her friends. Boarding dogs at my house has never been easier and more complicated than having a dog that loves everyone and wants to play and the other who does not.

Emma has shown me the difference in purposefully breeding for work and breeding for looks. Emma and Bella could not be more different. While Bella allowed me access to this world, and opened countless

doors, I think it is Emma who will show people that I have understood, and that we can.

Beyond excited to start our future, but I need to remind me that I cannot forget about my other two girls, and she is still a puppy.

Happy Training.
